About Outlive PTSD

Helping veterans, first responders, and others reclaim purpose, connection, and joy.

Our Mission

Help veterans and first responders outlive PTSD—reclaiming purpose, connection, and joy—through practical tools, peer support, and community-powered action.

Why We Exist

Every day, an estimated 22 veterans die by suicide. That number is not a statistic to us—it’s a daily alarm. We are here to turn that alarm into action: awareness that becomes outreach, outreach that becomes support, and support that leads to lasting recovery.

22 X 22 Challenge

22 miles in 22 days

We walk 22 miles a day for 22 days to honor those we’ve lost and raise funds for those still fighting. Join, sponsor, or volunteer—because every mile tells someone, “You’re not alone.”

What We Do

We help veterans and first responders rebuild stability and connection through peer-led support, simple recovery tools, community belonging, and family resources.
Each part of the program is practical, science-informed, and designed to be sustainable in everyday life.
