22×22 Challenge
22 veterans take their own lives every day. Together, we can change that.
Why We Walk
Every day, 22 veterans lose their lives to suicide. That number isn’t just a statistic—it’s an urgent call to action. The 22×22 Challenge is our way of honoring them, raising awareness about PTSD, and building a movement of support that no one can ignore.
The Big Goal
We’re working toward something bold:
Walking 22 miles a day for 22 days straight.
This “big walk” is planned for next year. It will be a powerful public statement that together, we will outlast PTSD.
Building Momentum Now
We know big missions start with small steps. That’s why we’re launching a series of smaller local walks—training our bodies, growing our community, and spreading the word. Each step brings us closer to the main event.
-
Community walks (2–5 miles) to raise awareness.
-
Medium-distance walks (10–12 miles) to build endurance.
-
Story-sharing events at the end of each walk.
-
Opportunities to donate, sponsor, or sign up as a volunteer.
How You Can Be Part of It
Join a community walk near you—whether it’s 2 miles or 12 miles, every step counts.
Your contribution fuels the mission. Every dollar goes to peer support, recovery tools, and events that help veterans and first responders outlive PTSD.
Join the team that makes it possible—help with setup, outreach, walk support, or capturing the story. Every hand counts.
Businesses, churches, and community groups can sponsor a walk, a walker, or an entire day of the Challenge.
Why it Matters
These walks aren’t just exercise—they’re lifelines. Every mile tells a veteran: You are not alone. We’re walking with you.
